Our whiskies
Our Single Malts have some common values: they are harvested, brewed, distilled and aged in France.
Our current range is split into six different styles.
Each expression underlines the vision of the aromatic notes that Adrien wants to showcase. He achieves that by working closely with local farmers, through his skill as a distiller and by his mastery over the choice of barrels used for ageing.
CGNC 9918-5
CGNC is our benchmark whisky. It expresses our desire to craft a whisky with elegant complexity. Adrien wanted to bring out subtle notes of wood, grains, vanilla, dried fruit and tobacco. He achieved that by selecting an heirloom barley and following a traditional distillation process.
PNDC 9918-9
PNDC is one of our local productions. Adrien designed a smooth and delicate whisky with subtle notes of undergrowth, grains, red fruit and candied fruit. Inspired by his own Charentais heritage, he found these aromas through his choice of barley, a traditional distillation process, and ageing in barrels which had previously held Cognac and Pineau des Charentes.
STRN 9918-8
For STRN, Adrien wanted to highlight the excellence of regional winegrowers. He set out to make a whisky with aromas of honey, yellow fruit, wood and smoke; a whisky with subtle elegance. This aromatic complexity stems from his choice of barley, the distillation method, and rigorous barrel selection, including those that had held very old Cognac and Sauternes.
DMGR 9918-11
Imagined and blended by Dominique, this limited series is characterized by a great aromatic richness with notes of red fruits, candied grapes, smoke and delicate woody notes. These remarkable aromas, which give this single malt a smooth character, emanate from aging in French oak casks that have contained, among others, cognac and great Bordeaux wines.
STEM 9920-2
TORB 9121-1
TORB is the perfect expression of the influence of maturation on the character of a whisky. Matured in new, heavily toasted casks, it acquires a tonic, complex profile, revealing notes of fig leaves, liquorice and vanilla. The subtlety of the peat, combined with a period in age-old Cognac casks, gives it a long, harmonious finish.
LMBR 9918-4
CGNC is our benchmark expression. It underlines our desire to outline a whisky of elegant complexity. Adrien sought out subtle notes of wood, grain, vanilla, dried fruit and tobacco. He achieved them by selecting an old-fashioned barley, through a traditional distillation.
